Panama City Beach Water Temperature

We’ve found that the most accurate and reliable website to get the current Panama City Beach water temperature is the buoy in place from NOAA’s National Ocean Service. It’s important to know the water temperature, especially when you plan on swimming in the ocean, or in our case, the Gulf of Mexico. Luckily, it’s something we rarely worry about at Bay Point Water Sports, because is season, the water’s always warm and inviting no matter which of the following activities you may be choosing.

Water Temperature for Swimming
In the month of June, the water around the area is generally very warm, but if you’ve spent much time in the Gulf, you know about these wonderful underwater currents that have pockets of cooler (even cold) water that feel perfect on the hottest days. If it’s one thing that Panama City Beach has never been blamed for— it’s NOT being cool in the summer! I personally love to swim in the waters of the Gulf and when the water is perfect such as occurs in the month of June, and this year has been no exception. If you follow our blog, you will know that this year has been down right near perfect!
