Take the Road Less Traveled
Less Crowds, More fun
Less people can mean less problems. When you visit Panama City Beach, you might not be here for all of the crowds. If you are, that’s alright too. Why is it so packed all the time anyway? There are many reasons to visit this own, but I think the scenery is the biggest one for me. There is something or somewhere amazing to go every day that you stay here. I could go on forever and ever about the things I like and I should, but today I want to talk about my favorite place to go. It’s a place I visit quite a bit because it let’s me focus and appreciate the little things.
Camp Helen State Park
If you are driving on Back Beach Road and start going towards the west end, you will be there in a short amount of time. You pass over the bridge headed to 30A and it’s to the left right after you reach the end. I think there is a small fee of a dollar or two. It’s an honor system, so please make sure to pay. There was recently a pumpkin patch held there. I even bought three small pumpkins for Halloween! There is an area near the road with a staircase leading down to the beach. I enjoy sitting in the rocking chairs right next to the stairs. It’s probably my favorite area in Panama City Beach, maybe even all of Bay County.
Bay Point is Here
Visiting the parks that we offer is a big way to take the road less traveled. It seems that most visitors want to go to the bars, clubs, beaches, restaurants, and more. It’s nice to get away for a little while though. We all know it can be exciting to vacation in Panama City Beach, but you need to really get out on the water to enjoy it the most. Come to Bay Point Water Sports and rent a jet ski, kayak, or pontoon boat if you’re feeling up to it. Remember that life is about the little things. Contact us today or stop by for a day of fun!
